Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American musician and singer. Her age was just teen when she first entered the music world and was a winner of local contests at the age of 10 old, and recorded her debut album at fourteen years of age. She was signed in 1985 by Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. Then, she was invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, which is the group she performs together. Her debut album as a collective with this group came out in 1989.
