Lis Wiehl was born August 19th, 1962. She was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She has been an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College in 1983, a Master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl is a former prosecutor of The US Attorney. She was an NPR legal reporter. She was "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 to 2001. She managed their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
